The Larch Bonesteel Consulting Services, LLC, Object Oriented Design - Project Management - C/C++ - Windows NT, 98, 95 - Real Time Control Systems - Database Systems

C/C++

I began programming in C in 1987 during my employment at Digitronics Sixnet. Digitronics had embarked on the development of their own C compiler and linker. Their SCIL (Sixnet C Industrial Language) is an ANSI C compiler with the addition of a discrete I/O data type that allowed direct control of digital I/O points on their industrial controllers. I was the chief architect and developer of the real time multitasking operating system of Sixnet's 60-IOMUX controller. I provided operating systems calls for use by SCIL programs. I also developed a large number of functions for the SCIL runtime library and developed the loader that was used to load SCIL programs into the controllers. Much of my work was in assembly language and as a result I gained a great understanding of the internal workings of C.

In 1992 I began programming in C++ using Microsoft's Visual C++ Compiler. I have been developing software using Visual C++ and MFC continuously since that time. I adhere to Object Oriented Design methods and utilize detailed specifications and object models.

Windows NT, 2000, XP

All of the development work that I have done in the past several years has been for the WIN32 platforms. I have experience with multithreaded applications, thread synchronization and numerous WIN32 API features.
